Was doing research for solution for my home network problem. Came across this product which solved it.I live in a four story house where the router, a Linksys E4200 is located on the first floor.We had to place the router there since the cable comes in there to the house.On the second floor I have superb connection with full bars.My issue is on the top floor, I kept losing the connection and even when connected was getting maybe 1 bar.Initially I was looking into a wifi booster that I can connect to my laptop to receive a better signal.I soon realized that this solution is very limited as I wouldn't be able to use this on my tablet.Then I read about this Blurex wireless range extender solution that takes your existing wifi signal and repeats it further.This thing really works! I now I have full bars on my top floor.Setup was a breeze it took me let than 3 minutes. After I got it configured, I plugged it into a power outlet on my second floor, found the wifi signal "Repeater 1" and connected to it using my routers password.ProsEasy to configureSmall for factorGreat signal powerConsNot available in different colors

I love this wifi repeater. It couldn't be any easier to setup, I didn't even need the instructions. You just:1. Connect your pc/laptop to this device using the provided LAN cable2. Use your web browser to config it3. Disconnect the device from your pc/laptop and plug it into a wall socket somewhere in between your wireless router and your computer.4. You should now see an available wifi connection titled "wifi_repeater1". It uses the same encryption and password as your router.My router is in an office above my garage on the opposite side of the house where I use my laptop and PS3 on the first floor. There's 9 walls and 1 floor between my laptop and the router, and my PS3 is in a huge oak entertainment center. I used to be able to connect with laptop at about 1 Mbps(no bars) and not at all on the PS3. I now connect at 72Mbps(4 bars) on the laptop and have 5 bars on the PS3. The device takes up an entire 2 socket faceplate, but you can do what I did and use a small indoor extension cord and place the device where it receives a signal best. Overall I give it 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations for a repeater in this price range.

the blurex repeater was a little confusing to setup, but i called their service number and they walked me through it in 5 minutes. i wish all electronic companies had this kind of service.
