i received slim flimsy a wire antenna and not the antenna displayed in the product image, the detachable antenna itself that i got does not have the rpsma connector, this was the main reason i purchased the product. So needless to say im very dissatisfied with my purchase.

I have some signal problems where my PC is located, and I thought that with this "high-gain antenna" I could have some signal improvement, but when I plugged it in, NOTHING CHANGED! The problem remains! Since it has a cable, I tried placing the antenna in MANY different spots and the signal always showed between 20% and 35%. My surprise was that when I placed the antenna in line of sight with the router the signal still didn't go higher than 50%... IN LINE OF SIGHT at 4-5 meters distance! UNBELIEVABLE!I should have spent more in a high-quality antenna or an USB adapter.

The antenna I received is not like the one shown in the picture. That would not have been a big deal, but the real problem is the SMA connector is the wrong type. It is a 'regular' SMA, not an SMA-RP that is required to connect with a WiFi device. So you CAN NOT actually use this antenna. At least I'm only out a few dollars and have since ordered antennas from other vendors that actually work.
