I needed an external antenna for an Aruba AP-92 access point. Of course Aruba makes one, but it retails for around $200! And to top it all off, i couldn't even find information about it anywhere, only a part number and price.I purchased a bunch of these and they worked just fine. I only tested the signal about 30' away from the antenna in an outdoor environment and it was fine.Prior to purchasing, I emailed TP-Link's tech support a few questions, and they replied promptly and properly. Its sad that in this day and age, that's a pleasant surprise and not simply expected.For the price, they can't be beat.

I used two of these for a link between two buildings. signal went from -71dBm to -51dBm. I've had them up for about a week.Pros: Comes with basic mounting hardware. Good price (~$25). Works well. Plugged directly into the RPSMA connector on the access point.Cons: Short cable. I realize that cable length = signal loss but 1 meter is very short for an antenna that is going to be mounted outside with the radio on the inside

Hooked the booster up for some long distance wireless cameras and it picked up the signal even behind a large metal building. I was skeptical at first but it worked like a charm. Make sure you alo by several different types of SMA connectors to go along with it to make connection an ease.
