Took bars from 1, too max. The product does as it was intended, the only down point I can give it is lack of stability. The mount system rely's upon the stretching of plastic, which over time will fatigue, and if you try to stretch it too far will break. It is not stable to simply sit on a table so you must mount it in some way. A flat stand option would be nice, but for the price you can't beat it.

I have a Virgin Wireless USB thingie and technichally I am not in their coverage area. My coverage is hit or miss depending on the weather. While my bars have not gone up I definately notice a difference in the speed that my pages load and whenever it gets slow I know the antenna has fallen off which leads me to why I didn't give it 5 stars. The clip is shaped oddly and does not hold onto anything well and the wire is too short to stretch to anything else so I have to balance it carefully on the top of my laptop screen and breathe shallowly. Over all, it is worth it to me.

Increased reception of signal to VirginMobile Broadband2Go. After installing this antenna, could get good reception in the area I live, which is a fringe area for Sprint Data.
