I purchased one, and then because it works so well I bought more. It works exactly as described, and takes no more than 5 minutes to set up and use. I used it in several applications with great success, and obviously for a bargain price. 1) One unit extends my home wireless network to all parts of my 3-story house and all areas of my yard. 2) My voip line had to be connected to the primary router in a location in the house where it was inconvenient for the phone. The second unit is plugged in at my work desk so I can have my Voip phone right where I want it. The Voip box plugs into the Crystalview and works perfectly. The phone quality is the same as when I plug it directly into my main router. 3) One of my kids has a PC that does not have wireless. I was able to plug a Crystalview in his room and he plugged his PC directly into that unit for Internet access on his PC. Three problems solved for less than $75. I'm extremely happy. I plan to get another one to extend the wireless range at a scout camp where I volunteer as EMT during the summer. They offer wireless, but the range does not reach the cabin they provide for me. I am confident the Crystalview will give me Internet in the cabin. This is an awesome product.

This item is not "plug and play" per se. There is a tad bit of set up to do.Once you plug the extender into an outlet, you have to access the online settings. Once online, you select "advanced settings", wireless and find your router that you would like the extender to work with. Once you've done that you're good to go, but if you don't the extender will read "limited/no access".I just installed one for my boss to work with his TIVO which was only getting about 58% -65% signal strength. With the CrystalView, he's getting 100% now. I have purchased one to plug in near my DVD player so that my Netflix streaming issues (and XBox issues) will be alleviated.

Despite what this product claims to do it did not work for me. I followed the directions to attempt to set it as a range signal extender but my PC would not confirm it. I wish it would have worked but it just didn't work out.
